Better Health After Your Trip With a Post Travel Cleanse
In the last couple years I have become a huge advocate of cleansing and detoxing my body. The more I detox, the better I feel and the more I want to share my experiences with the world and help others to feel better too. Good health all begins with the food we eat this is clear, but what do we do when we go travelling and are indulging in all of the goodies that surround us? How do we come back from our trip feeling refreshed and clear?
Do You Travel?
Do you notice how when you travel or go away to a different country your *ahem* poop changes and your digestive system seems to be not quite right? This is because it all begins with our gut health and the food we eat. When we travel to other places and especially another country we are exposed to bacteria that our body has never encountered before. The bacteria can then invade our systems and create an imbalance in our bodies.
There are many ways in which bacteria can enter your body and disrupt your systems. It can be from something as simple as touching a door handle and then touching your face. Some bacteria even enters you through your feet as you walk barefoot! When you go out to eat, the water that was used, the meat your eating and the hands that prepared your meal all can have bacteria on them that your body is not used to.
Don't worry though! There is hope and you can keep walking barefoot on the sandy beach and eating out at all of the exciting food establishments on your trip. There are measures you can take when you travel to help your feces flourish and your energy levels in check.
For example, when I travel to tropical places I always make sure I have papaya seeds every week. If my stomach feels off then I eat the papaya seeds 4 days in a row first thing in the morning to kill off any nasties which may have found their way into my intestinal tract. Papaya seeds have a natural anti parasitic effect and are actually a natural antibiotic. Don't believe me? Google it.
Or feel the difference for yourself next time you feel weird gurgles in your stomach. Eat papaya seeds first thing in the morning on an empty stomach (space this out with your coffee) drink lots of water and notice as the gurgles die off. If chewing papaya seeds really makes you want to hurl, consider making a smoothie. This article outlines a wonderful smoothie recipe.
Get More Good Friendly Bacteria Into You
Another way to help yourself feel balanced while travelling is to think about loading yourself up with good bacteria. A few ways to do this are:
1) pack a probiotic supplement
2) pack keffir grains to make your own water keffir with
3) drink local kombucha
4) eat grass fed yogourt
5) Eat sauerkraut or any local fermented vegetables
Alright, so your back from your trip and you did everything you could to try to stay healthy but you still just don't feel right. I personally just got back from a trip overseas and came back feeling terrible. I started to detox as soon as I could but the damage was done. To clean up my body I am doing a parasite cleanse.
The cleanse consits of taking herbs to kill parasites as well as a nutrious healthy diet of vegetables and a few whole foods. I am trying my best to keep my bowel movements regular and even giving myself an enema every few days to mitigate cleansing symptoms.
There are three herbs to kill parasites that are using you as their host. These three herbs are: cloves, wormwood, and black walnut. IT is also recommended that when you take these herbs to kill parasites you also take a herb that will support your liver and help it to perform its functions.
I am using a supplement that has the three main ingredients already mixed together along with some liver supporting herbs. Taking the supplement is quick and easy as the supplement is in capsules. The supplement is named "Scram" and it is made by "HealthForce."
It has made me feel like my old self again but with even more clarity! The more I look into it and the more I learn about parasites I can clearly comprehend that EVERYONE needs to do one of these cleanses! As a human being you are made up of a whole bunch of bacteria. Scientists estimate that we have just as much bacterial cells as we do human cells!
This is kinda weird to think about but its the truth my friends. Therefor we want to make sure that there is good bacteria residing in our bodies and not the bad bacteria. By bad bacteria I mean the kind that robs you of your nutrients and leaves you feeling fatigued and hungry even though you just gorged on food all day long. The bacteria that makes it hard for you to get up in the morning and even dictate your mood.
Many folks are living with parasites and have no idea.
I will say that I have a noticeable difference from before and after, I feel more energized and like I am in more control of my life. I feel excited to get on with my day and to participate in the community. A fog lifts for me every time I cleanse and I wonder how many other people can benefit from detoxing.
I hope I've convinced you to try out a detox and if you are coming back from travelling feeling off please know that you are not alone and it is completely normal. I urge you to try it for yourself, try the cleanse and let me know how you feel!
Take control of your body again and clear away the fog.
Don't forget to tell all your friends about how much better you feel as well so that they may try detoxing out too!
Us humans are all family and we are on this earth together. sharing the knowledge and helping one another to heal is helping the collective.
